This friendly, familial and fun Hostel is well positioned for access to all kinds of bars, cafes, restaurants and even the U-Bahn station (Senefelder Platz). Its fairly small size creates a low-key atmosphere where cultural and language barriers melt faster than snow in the saharah. The homely kitchen (with dishwasher!), retro lounge and idyllic back garden are all fabulous conversation corners. Dorms and private rooms are bright with bold colours and pine beds.

The EastSeven Berlin Hostel, which opened in 2005, rents the best cheap beds in Prenzlauer Berg. It`s sleek and modern, with all the hostel services and more: inviting lounge, fully equipped guest`s kitchen, lockers, garden and bike rental. Children are welcome. Easygoing people of any age are comfortable here.
Easy to reach from all Airports and Train stations (U2 - Senefelder Platz), we are situated in the heart of Central Berlin - surrounded by cafés, restaurants, theatres, nightlife and of course lots of shops (Kastanienallee, Kollwitz Platz etc.). The Main cultural attractions (Museum Island, Alexander Platz/TV Tower, etc.) are within walking distance.

Walking tours leave from the EastSeven Hostel twice daily, or you can hire a bike and create your own route through the city.
We have plenty of private rooms (single/ double/ tripple/ quad) and small dorms (max. 8 people)!!

Mette stayed here on 14th August 2010 Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Hotel-standard + the benefits of a hostel: Great social atmosphere and cheap. Superfriendly staff. Good place to meet people, but also possible to just relax and be yourself. Good beds with real covers (not just sheets) and very clean. I am absolutely comming back! |

Laura stayed here on 13th August 2010 Could not fault this place, one of the best Ive ever stayed in. Its spotless, the staff are super friendly and cool and the garden terrace is beautiful. Would highly recommend it for solo travellers due to the common areas to socialize in. Can understand how it won best hostel in Germany. |

chuck73 stayed here on 13th August 2010 A bit out of the way, it's a fair distance from the main attractions of Berlin city centre. Not much of a fun atmosphere, but the staff were good and it was clean, tidy place. It seemed a bit too formal for me, which was disappointing. Would recommend if you want a good night's sleep though, the single room I stayed in was excellent. Shower was always hot, which is a bonus! |

Great kitchen for self cooking and outside area. I dont really know how they could improve this hostel.. have stayed in 2 other hostels in Berlin (top rated ones) and this one definately trumps them... easily. Thanks for a great stay |

anna_hud9183 stayed here on 03rd August 2010 Stayed here for three nights mid week and couldn't fault it at all. Staff went beyond the call of duty to help, e.g. posting a postcard for us when we couldn't find a post box! We had a twin room which was very large and clean and the beds really comfortable. The location was also great - lots of nice cafes, bars and interesting vintage shops nearby and only about 15 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz. Would definitely stay here again. |

Most helpful staff, fantastic kitchen, massive garden and decent bathrooms. coffee in the morning was only ,50 euro and beers only 1euro between 8-10, what more could you want! Rooms on the top level were alittle warm even with fan on, but wouldnt stop me coming back. | Couple
