Reviews & Ratings olabursik5876 from Czech Republic stayed here on 11th March 2010 Great environment and really helpfull staff! Lovely breakfasts plus the ability to watch Tv (news and weather forecast) and use Wifi makes your stay at The Riverhouse Backpackers an amazing experience! | | shaunjameswebb99 from Wales stayed here on 10th March 2010 Great location, next to stadium and walkable to everything else. Great Breakfast provided as well. | Male 25-30 | amnesia79204 from England stayed here on 10th March 2010 Hosts were absolutely awesome, not a prob. Only 2 points to make; our room was on the ground floor and if anyone used the toilet outside the room you heard the door shut and it might sound ridiculous but the tap was noisy when turned on and off. Both could probably be sorted with a bit of lubricant. Otherwise no problems. | Male 25-30 | kirstyjopson8641 from New Zealand stayed here on 09th March 2010 What can I say- by far the nicest hostel I've stayed in! Can't fault it and will be back. | Female 25-30 | christopherccbrown8864 from USA stayed here on 09th March 2010 Abi and Charles are awesome! The staff is really what makes this place. Even after you have a little bit of an embaressing night out. The kitchen is immaculate, dorms very clean(a little small) common area great! Amazing location. I loved my time in Cardiff and if i'm ever back I would definitely stay again. | Male 18-24 | sarahtyson26312 from Australia stayed here on 05th March 2010 Really modern hostel with a great kitchen and other facilities. Short walk to the main shopping district. Only downside is it isn't overly lively, not where you go to party, but a great place to sleep | Female 18-24 | fudgeits12161 from Australia stayed here on 04th March 2010 just bit dull, however very clean. Most of the people staying were businessmen and women | | emjaye87365 from South Africa stayed here on 24th February 2010 Honestly the GREATEST hostel I've ever stayed at! Was clean, close to everything, such friendly staff and so comfortable! If you going to Cardiff-LOOK NO FURTHER! :) Oh and awesome breakfast too! | Female 18-24 | Kurt from New Zealand stayed here on 23rd February 2010 We only stayed the one night but Charlie was fantastic! We were very impressed and would stay here if we ever got an opportnity to be back in Cardiff! | Male 18-24 | renatads2103 from USA stayed here on 19th February 2010 This hotel is a family-run establishment and has quiet hours at 11pm. It was an excellent hostel but there were two things that bothered me a bit. First, the doors to the rooms don't lock automatically. You have to lock them yourself, so it's fine but if you have random roommates come in in the middle of the night, it could be an issue. Also, they don't have the option of single-gendered rooms, so my friend and I had boy roommates each night we stayed. | Female 18-24 |
